Hi Francesco,

I will respond to your questions and comments in order.

1)  The governor has ordered everyone to stay at home, which has dramatically changed the lives of most people.  But since Angela and I already live in a rather isolated location, and my manufacturing facilities are at my home, Covid-19 has changed our life only a little.

Specifically, I can no longer go out to a restaurant for lunch because they are closed.  The restaurants still offer "take out" service where I can buy food through a window, take it home, and eat it.  But I cannot go inside, sit down at a table, and enjoy lunch.

The other problem I face is buying things.  Many businesses are closed, so I cannot get some things like I usually can.

This is most troublesome for my business.  For example, I need more of the audio transformers I use in my speakers.   But the factory that makes them is shut down, so I can not get any right now.  This is commonly referred to as "supply chain disruption."

Surprisingly, my business remains busy.  I am getting many orders for new audio equipment!  I thought nobody would be buying audio systems right now.  But it seems that many people are sitting at home and thinking that now would be a good time to upgrade their audio system.  So I have been getting many sales since the pandemic started.

2)  The U.S. health care system is treating the Covid pandemic as an emergency.  So hospitals will accept all patients, regardless of their ability to pay or whether they have insurance or not.

Hospitals expect the federal government will repay them for their losses.  As you probably know, the federal government has passed $2,000,000,000 emergency legislation to help many parts of the economy, and part of that money is going to hospitals.  I do not know all the details, but it seems likely that eventually the government will pay the hospitals for their losses.
